Ventia will continue to undertake a large proportion of Western Power's distribution services under a renewed two-year contract.

With the opportunity to extend the new contract for a further three years after the initial tenure, Ventia will deliver services including the distribution maintenance and construction of Western Power's electrical network throughout Perth and south-west regional Western Australia.

Ventia will also provide transmission maintenance, street light services including emergency response, fault repairs and street light replacements.

Ventia has provided services to Western Power and their customers since 2005. Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation with the purpose of connecting people with electricity in a way that is safe, reliable and affordable. Operating for more than 70 years, the corporation's vast transmission and distribution network connects Western Australians to a wide range of both traditional and renewable energy sources.
